Day 1: You will be picked free of charge from the airport and you will be dropped at your hotel in Entebbe ( 2 friends Beach Hotel) depending of your arrival time you can have a swim and a good rest before your safari adventure start the following day. Overnight at the hotel. ( bb or hb)
Day 2: Entebbe > Lake Mburo National Park. Today you will be picked from the hotel after breakfast by our driver/guide and head to Lake Mburo National Park, having a stopover at the Equator for the water experiment and pictures then later proceed on to the park entering with a mini game drive in search for wildlife that includes the Zebras, Impala, Topes, Water buck, Eland, Klipspringers, Dwarf Mongoose, Warthogs, Bush Bucks and Leopards among others.We check in the lodge , have our lunch and latter in the afternoon go for the Boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This normally takes about one and half hour, we come back to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park. The day begins early as we go for the Nature walk on shores of Lake Mburo in search for wild life that includes; The Zebras, Impalas, Reedbuck, Cliffspringers, Buffaloes and Leopards among other mammals and a variety of bird life that includes the Papyrus Gonolake and the rare Shoebill Stork among others. We go back to the lodge for breakfast, relax around, have lunch and in the afternoon go for the game drive in the park for yet another but different view of wildlife that include the Zebra, Elands,Topis, Buffaloes, Wathogs, Impalas, Waterbuck, Dwarf Mangoose,Statungas and Cliffspringers among others. The drive also offers a variety of bird life that include specialties like the Red-faced Barbet, Emerald-sported Dove, Coqui Francolin, Brown-chested Lapwing and Lilac-breasted Roller among others. This normally takes about 2-3 hours, we come back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Lake Mburo – Bwindi National Park. After breakfast, we check out and drive towards Bwindi National Park. Passing through the rolling hills and terraces of Mbarara and Kabale,with en-route lunch and later proceed on to Bwindi National Park, arriving in the afternoon and check in the lodge/ camp ( according to your preferences) relax around and dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Bwindi impenetrable forest (Gorilla Trekking)
After breakfast, we go to the visitors center for registration and briefing the long awaited hike. Hikers will love it with the unpredictable Gorilla trekking. It’s not easy to tell how long it will take you. The trekking may take you 2 8 hours so expect to walk for long hours/ distance in steep and muddy conditions and sometimes with rain over head as you hike. So always remember to bring along with your packed lunch, enough drinking water, rain jackets, insect repellents and you need to be physically fit. The time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour for conservation purposes. The ranger will brief you on how to behave while with these apes. Dinner and overnight in the lodge/ camp ( according to your preferences)
Day 6: Bwindi – Queen Elizabeth N.P. After breakfast we check out and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We shall do a game drive in the Ishasha sector (Southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National park) where the tree climbing Lions can be seen according to the luck of the day. We have our packed lunch and later proceed on to Mweya arriving in the evening and check in to check in the lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight( according to your preferences)
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park. The day begins early with an early breakfast and then goes for the game drive towards the Kasenyi plains in search for wildlife that includes the Buffaloes, Water Buck, Kobs, Hyenas, Warthogs, Lions and Leopards among others. And for Birds lovers, you will like it because this Park is said to have the highest concentration of birdlife as compared to any Park in the World. We come back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch and later in the afternoon at about 3:00 pm, we go for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for yet another but different view of the wildlife at close quarters as they come to cool off at the shores of the Channel. We come back later in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 8: QENP. > Kibale National Park. After breakfast we transfer to Kibale National Park driving through the Crater Lakes region and drive North wards along the foot hills of Rwenzori Mountain Ranges, these constitute the western Rift Valley and form the boundary between Uganda and Congo. With en-route lunch at Kasese, arriving in the afternoon and check in to the lodge/ camp and have a free afternoon, dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Kibale National Park. After breakfast we slope down to the Park Offices for registration and briefing before we start the Trekking in one of East Africa’s oldest Forest with trees as high as 50 meters . The Trekking may take about three hours in search for Habituated Chimpanzees. The forest also harbors about five primate species that include the Black and White Colobus, Red Colobus, Red tailed, Lhotse’s Monkeys and Grey cheeked Mangbey. It is also home to a variety of bird species including the rare Green Breasted Pita. We come back to the lodge, relax around, have lunch and later go for a nature walk in the Bigodi wetland which is also very rewarding. We come back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 10: Kibale > Murchison Falls National Park. Depart Kibale National Park after an early breakfast and head for Murchison Falls National Park, driving through traditional homesteads and beautiful tea plantations in the rolling hills of Tooro kingdom. The journey may take about 8- 9 hours on a duty road, arriving in the evening and check into the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 11: .Murchison Falls National Park. After an early morning breakfast, we drive down to the ferry and cross the Nile to the Northern sector of the park where we shall do our game drive in search for wildlife that includes elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, oribis, hart beasts, Kobs, warthogs, lions, jackals, leopards according to the luck of the day and a variety of savannah and woodland birds can be seen. The drive normally takes 3 4 hours according to how much you see and the interest you have in them. We drive back to the camp, relax for a while, have lunch and then at 2:00 pm we go for the boat cruise on close quarters as the animals draw down the river bank to cool off. Here you get a chance of seeing many schools of hippos, crocodile, buffaloes, elephants and a variety of water birds. We come back after about 3 hours to the lodge/ camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 12: Murchison Falls > Mt. Elgon National Park. Transfer to Mt. Elgon National Park, driving through Lira and Soroti. You arrive in Sipi in the afternoon and check in to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 13: Mount Elgon National Park. After breakfast, we go to Mt. Elgon National Park through the Kapkwai gate for a nature walk, and visit the attaint caves. This may take about 2 hours, we later come back to the lodge/ camp for lunch and latter in the afternoon visit the Sipi Falls which are about 100 meters high. Dinner and overnight at lodge/camp.
Day 14: Transfer to Jinja, Bujagali Falls, Source of the Nile. Today we travel to Jinja, driving through Mbale Town, arriving in the afternoon and visit the source of River Nile and Bujagali Falls and check in to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 15: Jinja, Rafting. After breakfast, you will go for a whole day white water rafting on the mighty Nile. This activity takes you up to the grade five rapids. You come back to the camp, relax around, dinner and overnight.
Day 16: After breakfast we transfer you to the airport for your flight home or your next destination.
