3 days Masai Mara

Day 1: Nairobi > Masai Mara. We pick you up in the early morning for the journey south through the floor of the
Great Rift Valley. On the way to the Masai Mara you will have picnic lunch at Narok this is the business town for the Masai.  Enroute to the camp we already do the game viewing. Check in the camp. If time permits we shall have another gamedrive and return for  dinner and overnight to the camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara. Today we spend a full day in the park in search of the Big Five. Meals and overnight at
camp. (Optional visit the Masai Village in the evening after game drive )

Day 3: Masai Mara > Nairobi. Waking up in the morning for another game drive. After breakfast we depart Mara doing a stop at Narok to have the picnic lunch and arriving in Nairobi late afternoon.

Inclusive of parkfees, accommodation at budget camp, 3 meals per day, bottled drinking water, gamedrives and qualified driver.

  • 4 days Masai Mara 

 Day 1: Nairobi > Masai Mara After breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel around 8.00 am. Depart Nairobi to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, which is actually the Northern part of the Serengeti, with a stop over at the ‘Great Rift Valley ‘view point. We pass Narok the business town of the Masai. Here we will have lunch if you have booked a camping safari or when you have booked a lodge safari we pass through and arrive in time for lunch at the lodge. Driving up to the campsite/lodge is already your first game drive after entering through the gate.

Day 2: After breakfast with picnic lunch you spent full day exploring this famous park with this rich tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its large herds of wildlife. Lions with black manes, leopards and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every kind of animal that can be found in the wild in Kenya. All meals and overnight at the camp / lodge.

Day 3: Masai Mara > Lake Nakuru Pre morning game drive, return to the camp or lodge for breakfast  and depart for Lake Nakuru with game drive enroute and picnic lunch. You are going marawildebeestto arrive Nakuru early evening dinner and overnight at camp/lodge.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru> Nairobi After breakfast proceed for a game drive to Lake Nakuru which is world renowned for its masses of flamingoes and is often referred to as the “Pink Lake”. Beside birds, it is possible to see small game, like Water Buck, Impala, Rhino and Buffalo in the gardens surrounding. After lunch depart to Nairobi arriving around 16.00 – 17.00 late afternoon.

5 days Mara & Lake Nakuru 

Day 1: Nairobi>Masai Mara Pick up from your hotel after breakfast for a journey South along the Great Rift Valley, lunch at Narok, business town of the Masai,  and then climb the Western wall entering Hemingway’s country “Serengeti Plains” . Arrive in the afternoon for evening game drive in Masai Mara game reserve. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/ campsite depending from what you have booked lodge or camping safari. In case of a lodge safari lunch is at arrival in the Sopa lodge.

Day 2: Masai Mara A full day spent game viewing a cross the rich, tree studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard and cheetah but also contains numerous elephant and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. All meals and over night in the Sopa lodge/campsite.

Day 3: Masai Mara After early morning breakfast leave the camp for morning game drive until lunch time, return to the camp for lunch. Afternoon optional nature walk or a visit to a nearby Masai village, return to the campsite/Sopa lodge  for dinner and overnight.SONY DSC

Day 4: Masai Mara> Lake Nakuru Today you will wake up very early for a pre- breakfast game drive in the park. This is the perfect moment to spot the animals when they are still active in the early morning hours. Return to the campsite/lodge for late breakfast then leave Masai mara for Lake Nakuru National park with lunch served enroute (or at arrival in the lodge)  arriving in Nakuru for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru >Nairobi After early morning breakfast, proceed for an extensive morning game drive in L. Nakuru National park known for it’s millions of flamingoes and other water birds. Here you will see also rhino’s cause there is a rhino sanctuary in this park. Leave Nakuru after lunch back to Nairobi arriving in late afternoon.

5 days Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha

Day 1: Nairobi > Masai Mara.
We will arrange your Nairobi hotel and transfer you to our office, be introduced to the guide and other group members. By 08.30am we depart for Maasai Mara with the first stop at the view point for the view of the escarpment wall. Later descend the escarpment and travel on to Narok town for early lunch. You will arrive at Mara Springs Tented Camp at around 15.00hrs, check in, followed by evening game drive till sunset. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2: Masai Mara 
We have breakfast at the camp and thereafter before 08. 00am we leave the camp with packed lunch for extensive 9 hours game viewing. Masai mara has the highest number of different species and you will be lucky to see hundreds of them. A game drive to Mara River is compulsory, if it will be migration time you will witness the same otherwise you will see crocodiles and hippos at the river. Picnic lunch inside the park then continue with the game drive till 17.00 pm. Leave the park for at least 2 hours optional activity. You will relax at the camp, Take a nature walk with Masai warriors or visit the Masai village. Dinner and overnight at the  Mara Springs Tented Camp.

Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru
Early morning pre game drive from 06.30 am to 09. 30 am, back to the camp for full breakfast. Check out and leave Masai Mara for Lake Nakuru with lunch enroute, View of Mount Longonot and optional activity at Lake Naivasha if interested. You will arrive Nakuru Town in the evening. Check in at Citymax hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Lake Nakuru / Lake Naivasha.
After breakfast at the hotel drive to lake Nakuru which is famous for the endangered species {Rhinos] and the flamingos. Sometime the flamingos are very few but you are guaranteed of seeing the Rhinos among other Big Five. Lake Nakuru is not a big park and within 4 hours you will have seen enough. Later leave the park with lunch enroute and drive back to Lake Naivasha. Upon arrival drop off at Taphe Guest Resport. Evening spend at leisure optional with a visit to Naivasha floral farms.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha – (Hells Gate) – Nairobi
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Hell’s gate for a game drive. Here is the only place you can walk inside the park as there are  no predators. You can either do the game drive with the safari vehicle or hire bicycle to cycle the 11 kms down to gorge. At the gorge you will get a guide so that he can guide you and share information about the rock layers. Late drive/cycle back to the gate, leave Naivasha with lunch enroute back to Nairobi. Drop off at your Nairobi Hotel or be transferred to airport to catch a flight home/other destination.

7 days Mara, Lake Nakuru and Samburu

Day 1: Nairobi> Masai Mara Departure from Nairobi at around 8:30 am on the way to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. Along the way we stop to enjoy the view over the Great Rift Valley. Arrive for lunch at the lodge and if there is still time we do a game drive and then we return to the lodge / campsite for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Masai Mara. Today you will spend a day in the famous park. Here you can see the black-maned lions, cheetahs, leopards, wildebeest, zebras and many more. Meals are served in the lodge or at the campsite. If you spend the day in the park, you will have lunch at the riverside. If you have booked lodge-safari than the lodge provides the lunchbox.

Day 3: Masai Mara Early morning game drive. It is possible to take a walk accompanied by Masai Warriors or to visit a Masai village, at a cost of 10 usd per person. The Manyata is a surrounded area protected with branches and all huts made of mud and cow dung. This is then dried and used for the walls of the hut. The Masai tell you stories about their traditions and you can walk freely to take pictures. In the afternoon we do a game drive and return before darkness to the lodge for dinner and overnight (or campsite if there is a camping safari).

Day 4: Masai Mara> Nakuru  08:00 pm …  After an early breakfast leave Masai Mara for Nakuru National Park. Picnic lunch en route. Lake Nakuru is described as “the world’s greatest bird spectacle” with millions of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge / budget hotel (depending on what you have booked).

Day 5: Nakuru> Samburu  08:00 am… After breakfast, depart from Nakuru to Samburu. Samburu is famous for its Rothenschild giraffe and Grevy’s zebra. In Samburu we find the Samburu’s like the Masai a nomadic tribe. A mix of forest, grassland and swamp, home to a wide variety of animals and birds. In Buffalo Springs approximately 365 bird species are observed. Furthermore, can be seen here: giraffe, zebra, elephant, Somali ostrich, hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. You will stay in a lodge or if you have booked a camping safari at the campsite with basic facilities.

Day 6: Samburu. Today we spend the whole day in this beautiful park to enjoy the unique scenery and wild life of the Samburu. Known for its large predator population but also famous for its gerenuk with that long neck. Samburu prefer to dress in their traditional attire, and you will undoubtedly meet some of the villagers during your stay. You have your meals at the lodge (or campsite) Overnight in the lodge or campsite (depends what you have booked).

Day 7: Samburu> Nairobi. An early morning game drive will be done, followed by breakfast and the return to Nairobi.
