Zanzibar is located south from Tanzania. In a half hour boat ride with a Hoovercraft you will find yourself suddenly on a beautiful Island with pearl white sand and surrounded by blue clear sea water. The Belvedere Resort is located on the south-eastern coast of Zanzibar, directly at the endless fine white sandy beach of the Indian Ocean. The native fishermen village of Jambiani is situated right next to the resort and offers the possibility to learn more about the life of the local people. The airport is about 45 km and Stone Town is approx. 40 km far away. The trip to this resort leads through Jozani Forest National Park and if you are lucky you can admire the red colobus monkeys directly from the car.
The resort has 7 bungalows (35 m2 + terrace 10 m2), 1 restaurant, Wi-Fi ( in the lounge and restaurant). All bungalows have fans and air conditioning system is not necessary due to the natural construction materials (roof made out of palm leaves). Bathing right outside the door.
